"Summer's All in Bloom..."

"...The summer is ending soon."
I can't believe how fast these last few days are flying by! I am SO sad, but also soooo happy because I have enjoyed every second of these last few days.
Here is what has been up:
This past week was the Sevier County Fair! I decided to enter my watercolor painting of Christ. Then I came up with an idea to make "Fruity Pebble Truffles" and figured that if they were yummy enough, then I would enter them into the fair! Well Thursday night a friend of mine came over and we created the truffles! They turned out to be very sweet--- if you love fruity pebbles, you would love these fun lil treats!
Well I decided to enter them into the cereal contest the next day. Ha I didn't win, but I had tons of fun making these cute treats with my friend!
Night games with a bunch of friends followed that night after we made the treats and it was great fun! It was like the olden days... ghost in the graveyard, links, steal the flag, murderer in the dark, and telephone!
Friday night we attempted to fill water balloons with glow in the dark paint. We decided to try to play water balloon volleyball in the dark! It kinda worked. We used the headlights of a car to charge some of the balloons so they'd be lit, but our patience was short and our volleyball game quickly turned into a fun-filled waterfight.
Tonight I enjoyed me some Beatles at BEATLE MANIA!!! ha ha at the County Fair! I went with a bunch of my friends and listened to the band "Imagine" which is a tribute band to the Beatles. It was very funny and just simply great. Mainly because I love the Beatles.
The night would not have been complete without a picture with all of them!
Left to right: Emmie, Cydney, Dustee, Lissy, Hailey, Sunni, Me (in the hat), and Kambry (in the green).
Nowww.. my plans for next week have changed. Instead of moving down on Tuesday so I could be in Cedar for the Student Associate Board Retreat, I've been invited to Lake Powell!! I'm thinking I will probably go, which will really change my plans of packing and all... but everyone says that Lake Powell is worth it. Guess we'll just see how this next week turns out. It's definitely going to be CRAZY...
But hey, it's a crazy beautiful life though right?

Love,
Kate
