Katelin--you've been on my mind lately. We need to chat! :) So what do I do when things don't turn out the way I like??? After crying my eyes out for days--and eating some ice cream and cookies--I slowly start to realize that everything will be OK. And even though it's not how I imagined things would be--it usually ends up turning out better. I know sometimes people say--just have faith, things will turn out. And while that is true--they don't always turn out the way we want them to. But do we lose faith? No! Faith is holding on to hope--even when things aren't turning out the way they are supposed to. Faith is knowing that Heavenly Father is in charge and that we aren't. Faith is going forward--down a path you didn't think you would end up on (and probably don't want to be on). I love you Kate!
I miss you! It's been a while since we've talked. I love that you eat ice cream and cookies. That is the best! I've been eating cookie dough and muddy buddies that my mom sent down with Kambry ha ha.. my mom's the best. I love your insights though Katie. You are incredible! I swear you always say the right thing at the perfect time. Thank you so much for that thought on faith! It's perfect. And it's true. We can't lose the faith OR the hope! I love you too!!
