Well... I finished my final semester at Southern Utah University and I guess you could say that I'm a college graduate. Now I'm just another person on the street with their Bachelors Degree. No big deal, right?
Ha, whatever!!! I have never been happier. I can't believe I'm done with school. I can't believe I will never have to write another paper or study for a test or have homework ever again!!! It definitely is an amazing feeling.
These are just a couple of pics of what my classes were like this semester. Up above is my instructor for my Fathering class. He sang us a song and showed us his great guitar skills. I loved it!
And below is a picture of one of my classmate's sons. She brought all three of them (under the age of 4) for her presentation that day. They sat on the table like perfect little angels. They were adorable!
I absolutely loved my classes this year. I can honestly say that I completely enjoyed learning about the different things that will help me be a better mother and wife someday.
Below is a picture of me and my sister Kambry on black Friday. We are NEVER too old to sit on Santa's lap!
I can't even remember what I told him I wanted though... Dang. But really all I'm asking for is a new pair of prescription glasses and running shoes! I'm easily pleased.
Aren't my sisters beautiful?
Pictured below are two of my favorite people in Cedar City. Elder Johnson (on the left-- from Canada) and Elder Adams (on the right-- from Missouri)
I got to know these two representatives of Jesus Christ pretty well this last semester as they have come to my apartment a couple times to teach some lessons to my roommate. We've especially become good friends because this guy (pictured below) always seems to have their backs. He's always taking care of them and feeding them and making sure they have a ride to Walmart on p-days. Last p-day we actually got to spend the day with the Elders as we took them up to the "C" above Cedar to hike around for a bit. They are wonderful guys! I love them to death and I appreciate their willingness to serve the Lord.
This guy's name is Drew Hansen. He is becoming one of my very best friends. I absolutely adore him. He has the biggest smile ever and a heart to match it! Not to mention his testimony of the gospel... He is definitely somethin special!
Don't even worry.. He likes to take me out on lots of little dates. Our first date we got hot chocolate and played music together on the uke and guitar. Pictured above is our date to this delicious pizza place in Cedar called Centro Pizzeria. We walked down mainstreet and saw the pretty lights and then went to the movie Elf. Loved it!
This date he took me up above Cedar. It was absolutely beautiful! The stars were just as bright as the city lights and we had a perfect view of both.
He surprised me with beautiful pink roses just the other day!
Absolute appreciation and complete happiness right there.

I guess you could say that we're not really normal. Well, atleast our walmart trips aren't really normal.
We always have tons of fun together though and that's what matters!
Pictured below is our little friend "Mistletoe" that we found in our apartment. We named it that because it was sitting right under our mistletoe. Gross right? Ha one of my roommates loved it and fed it cheese and crackers... as shown below.
Then came the time for me to finally pack up and move home. This (below) is what I came home to!!! Sparklers and confetti poppers to celebrate the completion of my college career!
WOOT!
WOOT!
I have the best mom/family E V E R.
I came inside to find my home sweet home decked out in Christmas decor. Awe, talk about tis the season!

I have only been home for 6 days but it has been wonderful already. We have spent time up at my grandparents' home making Christmas candy. We've been to Christmas parties. We've been to piano recitals. We've been to basketball games.
The fun never ends... And the goodies don't either!
It definitely is the most wonderful time of the year and I couldn't be happier to be spending it at home around the people I love.
Love,
Kate
ps. just for a heads up--- I will be postponing my mission call for now.
