Bridal Shower

My cousin Kari and I were asked to throw a bridal shower for my cousin Amanda Schoemig this past Memorial Day weekend. My mom told me I had to start somewhere and we figured this would be the perfect opportunity to learn! The Jones family always has their reunion on this weekend and we figured it would be the perfect time to throw a shower for the "bride-to-be!"

With lots of time on my hands, it couldn't have turned out any better!

With assignments and responsibilities delegated, everything turned out great!

The food was delicious, the games were fun, the decorations were adorable, and the people there were the BEST part!!! The entire shower was a BLAST!

I chose to do watermelon pink, lemon yellow, and lime green for the shower.

The tissue paper balls were such a great addition to the party!

The entire room and area was bursting with fun, bright colors, and to-die-for food!

This is the "Wedding is Over" game! It was hilarious!

Amanda had to dress herself while being blindfolded into clothes and funny accessories that she had no idea what they were or what they looked like. The idea was that her room lost electricity as she was getting ready for the "special night" and so she had to get dressed in the dark... It shouldn't have been that hard right? ha ha

And this is my sweet grandmother Micki, my sweet mother Polly, and myself. I love those ladies and look up to them so much.

So the bridal shower turned out to be a success. I was definitely tired though after all was said and done. Totally worth it though, :)
