Crazy Beautiful Life

HOLY MOLY! What a crazy beautiful life! Just a quick update:
I finished finals! Yay!!
Had a gigantic bonfire with a bunch of friends on Wednesday night.
Went to St. George with a bunch of friends Thursday night.
Came back to Cedar Friday morning.
My family came down to help clean and move me out.
We spent hours cleaning, packing, and moving.
We ate lunch at my favorite place-- Taste of Hawaii. Yum!
Then we eventually left my beautiful cedar crossing town house for the last time and made it home to Richfield just in time for Konner's baseball game.

--Lets just say my room has been jammed packed full of crap.
I haven't slept in pj's for the past few nights, I haven't taken my contacts out [and because of that my eyes hurt today so I probably have eye infections. darnit. and I haven't worn my retainer... that is the longest I've ever been without it!!! weird] and I have learned to not pack that much for college. I will definitely be more prepared next year ;)

The first couple nights in town I spent with a bunch of friends from high school. We played catch phrase in a fort that we made in the middle of the high school parking lot (made with sheets, poles, and cars.) Then later we watched my favorite movie ever-- Tangled -- projected onto the water tower. That was very fun and very neat! Then Saturday I spent all day at my Grandma Carol's house for our Mother's Day annual yard work! It was a blast to spend time with family. The day was beautiful and warm, we had delicious food to eat, and it was all just simply great! Later I went on a fourwheeler ride with Kambry, hiked barefoot with her in the redhills, & sat by the canal and soaked up some sun. Eventually I got with my friend Ania Sieczkowska and went to the Dairy and then just hung out for a bit.

 I LOVE HER.

She was a foreign exchange student from Poland who lived with the Birds last year . We became really good friends, she took my senior pictures, and is amazing in almost every single way! She is so kind, genuine, & loving! It was hard to say goodbye to her last year.... but it was such a great surprise to find out that she was coming back!!! She has been here for two weeks so I barely got to see her before she left back to Poland! She got me a present :) a green ceramic apple for decor. She said she got it in a gallery and when she saw it, she immediately thought of me! ha ha, I love her. Well we did some pretty funny things together in the small time that we had together. She tried on my rope sandals and said that she looked like an "apostle"... I was like what??? and she's like.. "you know, an apostle! from a long time ago." ha ha ha! Like in Jesus' time! hahahaa it was hilarious. She is such a funny girl, I'm definitely going to miss her again. But this time she wants ME to come to POLAND! I'd honestly love to, but I have no idea how that would be possible considering the prices and what not. But who knows, we'll just have to see! Maybe someday :)

Sunday was Mother's Day... (I have the best mother ever.. She is absolutely beautiful both inside and out, and I am so thankful for her. She is incredible.) Well that evening my family celebrated Mother's Day and my return home from college (ha ha) with dutch oven cobbler! Yum, it was great. But no, we were celebrating mostly Mother's Day but also the fact that I received my Associate of Science Degree this year! So that was a really big accomplishment worth celebrating I guess. My family took the time to actually make me a t-shirt quilt from some of my t-shirts from high school! It was an awesome surprise!!! And it is sooo cute. I have the best family, the best grandmothers, and the best mother in the world.

Life is pretty good, I shouldn't complain... but yet I still do.

I went on a big hunt today with Tiana....
to find a job. It was exhausting! Depressing! and stressful! I ended up applying at like ten hundred different places. I really need to find a job this summer though so that I can make some money. Tuition increased this year quite a bit and my online account for SUU says I owe almost $2,700 already! Oh dear.... Stupid money. Things will work out somehow though.

So yeahhhh I just barely began sorting through my meck of a hess of a room... organinzing, dejunking, throwing away things, d.i.-ing things, and packing things meant for college only. It will be a big project.

Wow now my bum is numb from sitting here for so long.... I need to go to bed too.

I'll work on updating more once everything begins to fall into place better. Sorry for the long post and no pictures.
:\
I honestly do have a crazy beautiful life though.
(Thank you Ke$ha for the somewhat inspirational song)
